Hagglunds Bv206, achieve low ground pressure through full-length, wide rubber tracks and a lightweight body. The two sections of the vehicle are articulated, allowing them to keep full contact with the ground over broken and rough terrain. The ground pressure from Hagglunds are so low that the vehicle can traverse loose snow without sinking. Hagglunds are also amphibious and propelled by their tracks in water.
